What does a QCF Assessor do?

What information do we collect?
The job role of  the QCF Assessor is to prepare candidates for assessments of their work, for whatever award they are trying to obtain within the Qualifications Credits Framework (QCF).  Assessors support, motivate  and assess people their candidates who are working towards their QCF.

You could assess QCFs within an organisation's training department, a further education setting or on a freelance basis.

While you are working as a QCF Assessor regular quality control checks will be carried on you by Internal and external verifiers in order to ensure that the assessment process is being carried out in the correct manner.  As a QCF Assessor you may be required to work between 35-40 hours per week, usually Monday through Friday.  You will need to work to the schedule that is suitable to you and your candidate.
